About the event

Teshuvah: To Sit, To Dwell, To Return

An Online, Donation-Based Learning Session with Rabbi Yonatan

As the Jewish month of Elul begins, we are invited to sit with a question: What do we want to return to?

Perhaps it is a deeper connection with God, community, our intentions, or the values that guide our lives.

In this 30-minute online session, Rabbi Yonatan will offer a contemplative teaching and invite you to reflect on a few gentle questions.

In Hasidic teaching, the Divine is understood to be “in the field” during Elul—close, available, and accessible to all. Elul is also linked to the phrase Ani l’dodi v’dodi li—“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”—a season of mutual reaching, intimacy, and return.
